Shunga

Shunga is the Japanese term for erotic pictures, just hard porn sometimes, executed in woodblock print or painted scrolls. Inspired by illustrations in Chinese medical manuals.

Shunga were produced between 1600-1900 by ukiyo-e artists and much more profitable than their ordinary work.

Famous artworks by Kitagawa Utamaro, Katsushika Hokusai, Suzuki Harunobu but rarely signed to eliminate any danger of prosecution or losing face.

Voyeurism, masturbation, blowjobs and some of their more scandalous themes rape, straight & gay/lesbian sex, over-exaggerated sex organs,  were first explored in the work of Shunga artisans.

Hentai & Anime

The art of shunga provided an inspiration for in the Western world known as hentai. Hentai or Henti, a Japanese word meaning "perverted" is used to refer to anime, manga, and computer games with explicit sexual or pornographic content, videogame Hentai.

Hentai graphic works that feature heterosexual interactions, is abbreviated called "het". Yaoi refers to homosexual male pairings, and yuri to lesbian acts. Large breasted women in “Bakunyuu” and sado domination with all the sex tools & toys depicts in “BDSM”.

Like ejaculating on turns during orgy group sex by men, look for “bukkake” in hentai.
